Notice the plugs on the left, if that's the cable you would like - please read on. On the other hand you might be looking for a USB-SERIAL cable? If so, goto here: USB-G4 usb to serial adapter Our USB-G4 serial adapter adds a standard serial port to your computer so you can connect a Garmin eTrex and many other GPS's (and other things) to your laptop or desktop computer.

Our new USB24 cable connects many USB devices to a PC including many new GPS units like the Garmin nuvi series. And it will recharge the batteries in your nuvi too! It works with eTrex Ledgend C, Vista C, GPS 60(s), 76(s), Quest, all the Street Pilots with a USB port, and 276, 376, 476, and many more... even the TomTom, and even MP3 players and digital cameras too. Use it to upload/download maps, waypoints, tracks, routes, and even upgrade your GPS system free at Garmin.com. Garmin (and others) sell a cable like this for $15. Most all are 5 or 6 feet long and pretty heavy-duty, not ours. And what's more, we'll send our USB24 to you for just a pledge. And you decide after you get it if you want to send us any money at all. You can honor your pledge amount or send less or even send more!:-)) --- most people pledge $5 but don't feel obligated - you can pledge any amount and you can send any amount.

News: Works with Motorola RAZR as a Data/Charger Cable! AND the Blackberry too!

Larry said: I was sitting in Room 1401 (see photo below) with my laptop reading email and my Nuvi-660 GPS had a low battery. I wanted to use the Nuvi the next morning walking around and exploring but didn't want to leave it in the car all night to recharge. What to do? I discovered I can recharge it by plugging it into the laptops USB port with the little purple cable. I did have to setup the laptop so it wouldn't turn off.

Use our USB24 cable to recharge a 10x!

The new Garmin 10x has a GPS receiver and bluetooth transmitter in a sleek tiny package weighing only 2 ounces, and that includes the battery, which by the way runs the little guy for 18 hours! It's shipped together with a cigarett lighter plug and cable to recharge the battery. But did you know that all USB ports have 5 volts at 1/2 amp available? And this unit and several other Garmin units will use the power to operate the unit AND recharge the batteries? Yes, it's true, and VERY cool. The Nuvi-660 does it. Just plug your Garmin into a USB port (with our cable) and recharge the batteries in your GPS.

On the road? In a forgin country? Strange power plugs? No problem, just get your laptop connected to power then use one of it's USB port (and our cable) to recharge your GPS's batteries! Very handy. Very easy. Fits in your pocket.

Use our USB24 cable to load music and recharge your Nuvi.

(This cool photo (download here) from Marriott Room 1401 in Waikiki looks great as the starting screen on a Nuvi.)

Big Black Heavy normal version -vs- Pfranc version.

The cable on the left is a Garmin USB PC Interface Cable (010-10477-03), and on the right is a Pfranc cable at 1/5th the weight.

We've been sending this cable out for just a pledge since Jan 2007. Everyone says it's really cool and one guy who pledged $5 liked it so much he actually honored his pledge with a $10.00 bill!

Thanks everyone! Sharehardware is alive and well after 11 years. Who-da-thunk?
